88 fuel tankers enter through Jogbani border
Eighty-eight fuel tankers and over 100 goods-laden trucks entered Nepal through Jogbani border point until 4 pm Tuesday afternoon.
Eighty-eight fuel tankers and over 100 goods-laden trucks entered Nepal through Jogbani border point until 4 pm Tuesday afternoon.
Biratnagar Customs Office informed that 22 petrol tankers, 51 diesel tankers and 15 LPG bullets entered through the customs point today. Customs official Rajendra Dhungana informed that the number of tankers entering through this point was even greater than those entering before the blockade. Around 40 tankers used to enter through this point before the blockade.
In total, 141 fuel tankers and 829 freight trucks had entered through this customs after India imposed the unofficial blockade.
Meanwhile, 13 tankers of diesel also arrived from western border point in Nepalgunj and two tankers loaded with petrol and diesel arrived from Bhairahawa. Freight trucks and tankers are entering from all the border points except the Raxual border point in Birgunj.
Mechi customs chief Bhim Adhikari informed that 101 trucks, most of them loaded with industrial materials, entered through the point today. Thirty-two fuel tankers have gone to IOC depot in Panitaki for refilling.
