UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is visiting China from October 15 upon the invitation of the Chinese side.

Dahal’s personal aide Chudamani Khadka informed that the Maoist boss will hold high level political discussions with the Chinese side during the visit. Dahal will also take part in a special assembly of Asian political force organised by the foreign department of Chinese Communist Party on ‘Silk Road’.

Khadka said that Dahal could have sent his representative for the visit if it was to only take part in the assembly. But since the Chinese side invited Dahal to also hold high level discussions, he decided against sending a representative and go for the visit, said Khadka.
