The Centre supplied foodstuff, tarpaulins, medicines and recreational packs. The CWIN has claimed that it has provided children packs to more than 45,000 children directly in 11 districts.

Likewise, in collaboration with the Nepal Pediatric Society (Nepas) and some volunteer doctors, CWIN organised 15 health camps for the young, benefitting more than 3,500 children in seven districts. CWIN is also running a child helpline in Kathmandu, Makwanpur and Kaski through which it provides over-the-telephone counselling to children and says it has responded to hundreds of cases of injured, missing and orphaned children.  

It has also been involved in rescue operations and family reunification of children brought to Kathmandu by suspected traffickers and has also been raising awareness on issues related to child abuse and protection. CWIN is also operating child-friendly spaces in Kirtipur, Kathmandu and Dolakha. Aditionally, it is helping in establishing temporary learning centres in Kathmandu, Dolakha, Makwanpur and Sindhupalchok.

In its relief operation, CWIN was supported by 500 volunteers and international organisations like FORUT and Seljord Folk High School from Norway, CINI from India, ICDI from The Netherlands, Quinoa/Salaai from Belgium, GRT and We-world from Italy, United World College South East Asia, Comic Relief and

Peace Boat Disaster Relief Volunteer Centre.
