The board of directors of the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund has expressed gratitude to all donors and urged the citizens, private sector, civil society, bilateral and multilateral donor agencies, the United Nations, regional and international agencies, neighbouring countries and all Nepalis at home and abroad to deposit money in the Fund as the lone effort of the government was not sufficient for appropriate management of the disaster.

The PMO has also provided bank accounts of 16 different banks to those willing to deposit the amount—in Nepali currency and US dollar—in the Fund.
