Gauchan’s father Khadga Prasad Gauchan, 78, passed away while undergoing treatment at Annapurna Neuro Hospital this morning. He was critically injured in micro bus accident in Bhairahawa about one and half months ago.

Despite his father’s illness, Gauchan had played in the World Cricket League Division 2 tournament in Namibia. He had reached the hospital after returning from the tournament on Monday.

The final rites were performed at at Pashupati Aryaghat today.
