“We hindered the attempt to bring a regressive constitution by annulling the achievements of the people’s movement and people’s war,” said leader Dahal, talking to media persons at CA building after the postponement of CA meet. “We have been successful in blocking the status quoits and regressive constitution.”

He said the struggle to bring a progressive constitution would be continued and urged the people to be prepared for the same.

He said the opposition parties tried to forge consensus till the last moment but the ruling partied showed their arrogance. “The leadership of ruling parties even refused to give the political statement,” he claimed.

Dahal also apologised for failing to bring the new constitution on the promised date. He said there were no differences among the constituents of opposition parties.
