3 mountaineers die in Khumbhu region
Three mountaineers have been killed in the Khumbhu region of Solukhumbhu district in the past week.

Two including a German mountaineer were killed during Mt Ama Dablam expedition in Khumjung-7 while another foreign mountaineer was found dead in Namche-9.
German national Charlie Hristophm Grafvon Preysing, who was returning to the base camp after reaching the Ama Dablam peak, collapsed and died at an altitude of around 6,000 metres last week on Monday. His body was airlifted to Kathmandu.
Likewise, one Dendi Sherpa, 26, a permanent resident of Jubhing-3, was killed in an avalanche in Ama Dablam yesterday while an Italian national Robert Gyasar, 59, died at an altitude of 6,186 metres due to high altitude sickness.
Two Swiss nationals have also been injured in the avalanche in Ama Dablam. They have been airlifted to the Capital for treatment.
