SLC disruption: No re-examination in Dhanusa, says OCE
Office of the Controller of Examination has said that there will be no re-examination at the three SLC centres in Dhanusa where examinations were disrupted today.
Ekantipur Report
SLC exams at three centers—Yadukuha 'Ka', Yadukuha 'Kha' and Dhawauli Secondary School—in the district were disrupted after the students took to protests during the exam of Social Science earlier in the day. Two students had been injured when police opened fire on the agitating students.
Examination controller Bishu Bahadur Dwar said that re-examinations will not be held for the students who demanded for being allowed to cheat during SLC exam.
"If somebody does not want to appear in the exams for not being allowed to cheat, re-examinations cannot be held for such students," he said," If they do not appear in tomorrow's exam, they will also be barred from giving supplementary exam."
He said that the students themselves had ruined their future. Around 1,000 students from the three examination centres will be affected if the Office of the Controller of Examination does not re-take examinations that were disrupted today.
