At an interaction organised by the Reporters' Club Nepal here on Thursday, Minister Mahat said that constitution writing was indispensable to end the transition. He added that taking economic development and constitution writing ahead simultaneously was the government's priority.

He said that holding election to the local bodies and the peace process were also the government's priority.

Informing that the government has been working on its annual policies and progarmmes discussions on government's policies and programmes, the finance minister said the government would bring its policies and programmes soon.

Minister Mahat said economic development and good governance were people's main agenda and that the government was serious towards resolving the problem of increasing power outage in the country.

He said homework was on for the nomination of the remaining 26 Constituent Assembly (CA) members, to be nominated by the cabinet. RSS
