Kathmandu
Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Ranju Darshana has maintained her lead in the vote count in Kathmandu constituency number 1.
Out of 8,055 votes counted so far, Darshana has secured 3,850 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Prabal Thapa has received 2,181 votes.
CPN-UML candidate Mohanraj Regmi has secured 371 votes.
Similarly, Menuka Bhandari of the Nepali Communist Party has received 80 votes, while Rastriya Prajatantra Party candidate Rabindra Mishra has secured 1,093 votes.
Officials said 159 votes have been invalid out of the 8,055 counted so far.
