Biraj Bhakta Shrestha surges ahead in Kathmandu-8
Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate maintains strong lead over Congress and UML rivals.

In Kathmandu constituency number 8, Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has surged ahead, holding a commanding position in the early vote count.
Out of 11,552 votes counted so far, Shrestha has secured 7,617 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Sapana Rajbhandari has received 890 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Suman Sayami has 847 votes.
Nepali Communist Party candidate Rajesh Shakya has secured 544 votes.
