Police seize over Rs9.5 million in undisclosed cash, four arrested

Kathmandu police on Sunday arrested four individuals with Rs9.51 million in undisclosed cash.
According to Superintendent of Police Apil Raj Bohara, spokesperson for the Kathmandu District Police Range, the suspects were apprehended from the road in front of Pingalasthan, Kathmandu.
Those arrested are Samudra Jamkattel, 29, of Tarakeswar Municipality–3 in Kathmandu; Ganesh Rai, 43, of Saptakoshi Municipality–1 in Saptari; Santosh Gurung, 31, and Santosh Ghimire, 39, both from Dordi Rural Municipality–3 in Lamjung.
The four were suspiciously riding two motorcycles when police stopped and searched their bags, discovering a large sum of money, Bohara said.
