A 36-year-old man from Bhantakura in ward 2 of Kalimati Rural Municipality was found dead in a room at Madhyapaschim Hotel in Setikhola of the same ward on Sunday.

According to Police Inspector Bhawani Prasad Dhamala, information officer of the District Police Office, the man had returned from Dailekh. He had checked in to the hotel late at night.

The hotel staff found him dead in the morning in his room. The cause of the death is still unknown.

“The hotel the man stayed at belonged to one of his relatives. His body has been sent for post-mortem,” said Dhamala.
