Girl burnt to death in Jumla fire

A 16-year-old girl died after a fire engulfed a house in Chandannath Municipality-1 of Jumla district on Monday midnight.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Narendra Chand of Jumla District Police Office said the girl, who was in a deep sleep, was burnt to death after the fire broke out at the house belonging to Loga Bahadur Bhandari.
According to him, the cause of the fire is being investigated.
The three-storey mud house was gutted by the fire, said Chand, adding the details of the loss incurred are yet to be calculated.
