Nepal’s Covid-19 toll reaches 3,030 with three more death
With 167 new infections recorded in the past 24 hours, the active case count stands at 1,390, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.Post Report
Nepal on Tuesday reported three more Covid-19 related fatalities, pushing the death toll to 3,030. The country also recorded 167 new cases.
The overall infection tally has reached 277,147 with 1,390 active cases.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 272,727 infected people have recovered from the disease so far, 115 of them in the past 24 hours.
Kathmandu Valley recorded 89 new infections in the past 24 hours. Of them, 78 cases were confirmed in Kathmandu, seven in Lalitpur and four in Bhaktapur.
In the past 24 hours, 114 new infections were recorded in Bagmati Province, 39 in Gandaki, eight in Lumbini, three in Sudurpaschim, two in Province 1 and one in Province 2.
As of Tuesday, 2,267,408 PCR tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 3,140 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the data released by the ministry.
Nepal had reported 141 new Covid-19 infections on Monday, Similarly, 89 new infections were recorded on Sunday and 85 new infections were recorded in the country on Saturday.
