Police extend unbeaten run with sixth straight win in Men’s PM Cup
Lalit Rajbanshi and Gulsan Jha shine in a dominant win over Gandaki Province.

Nepal Police Club clinched their sixth straight victory in the seventh edition of the Men’s PM Cup with a dominant seven-wicket win against Gandaki Province on Wednesday at the Siddhartha Cricket Stadium in Bhairahawa.
Chasing a modest target of 93 runs set by Gandaki, Police reached their target in 16 overs, losing three wickets. Captain Dipendra Singh Airee top-scored with 54 runs, hitting three fours and six sixes off 23 balls. Opener Arjun Saud made an unbeaten 18 runs, while his pair Dilip Nath made 10 runs.
Amit Shrestha scored seven runs, while Kushal Bhurtel was dismissed for a duck.
Earlier, Gandaki were bowled out for just 92 runs in 23.2 overs. Arjun Kumal was the highest scorer for Gandaki with 48 runs off 63 balls, including eight hits to the fence. Rohit Chand and Subash Bhandari added ten runs each, while the other batters failed to reach double figures. Wicketkeeper Sudip Aryal remained not out on seven runs.
Police’s Lalit Rajbanshi and Gulsan Jha were exceptional with the ball, taking five and four wickets, respectively. Rajbanshi conceded just seven runs in 5.2 overs, while Jha gave away 48 runs in 8 overs.
Police remain unbeaten at the top of the table with 12 points, while Gandaki languish at the bottom with two points from six matches.
