Five days into its release, the romantic drama Lily Bily has made the gross collection of Rs 40 million.

The movie, which hit screens last Friday has been drawing audiences by the droves across multiplexes in the country.

Producer Govinda Shahi said that despite the box office clash with the blockbuster Shatru Gate and two other movies, the movie had been hugely successful. The movie is being screened in 97 halls around the country. On Wednesday,

Kathmandu’s multiplexes such as QFX, Big movies, X cube, and BSR ran 28 shows altogether.

Shahi shared that the movie had drawn youths in droves as it was a romantic movie. Director Milan Chams shared that the team had made no compromises in shooting the movie overseas.

The film was shot in Nepal, the UK, and Turkey. The movie portrays a life of a boy from rural Nepal who goes to Europe and becomes a successful NRN.

Lily Bily features actors Pradeep Khadka, Jassita Gurung, and Priyanka Karki in the lead roles.
