A music show, featuring Sur Sudha, a classical music troupe from Nepal, took place in New Delhi, on Thursday.
The programme was organised by BP Koirala India-Nepal Foundation and Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi, the event was supported by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations.
In his welcome address, His Excellency Deep Kumar Upadhyay, Ambassador of Nepal to India, highlighted the contributions made by Sur Sudha in promoting Nepali culture, through music, around the world.
He also spoke about the need to organise such cultural shows, and other cultural exchanges, between the two countries.
In addition to an hour long performance by music group Sur Sudha, the show featured performance by Paulami Guha, a famous Odissi dancer of India.
