Singer Bardewa passes away
Singer/songwriter Sunil Bardewa passed away in the Capital on Tuesday morning. The illustrious pop singer was admitted to the Maharajganj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), following liver-related ailments. He was 44.

Singer/songwriter Sunil Bardewa passed away in the Capital on Tuesday morning. The illustrious pop singer was admitted to the Maharajganj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), following liver-related ailments. He was 44.
The singer rose to popularity from the acclaimed single Goreto ani Ustai chha Galli. Known for a number of pop hits, such as Man Pareki Mayalu Lai, Aaja Bholi and Yo Saanjh, Bardewa, also a music arranger, arranged over 1000 songs during his lifetime.
Bardewa is survived by two daughters and a son.
