Mayte Garcia, who was married to late singer Prince, showed off an elaborate inking on her hand as a tribute to him.

Garcia was married to the singer for four years from 1996-2000, posed on the red carpet at an animal rights organisation's launch of their re-release of Prince's pro-vegan song “Animal Kingdom” with a tattoo as a tribute to Prince, reports mirror.co.uk.

Prince's former beau also took to Instagram to reveal a video of his tattoo.

The tattoo features the unpronounceable symbol her former spouse in the centre and admitted the tattoo makes her both "smile and cry".
