Coding and product development
As a software engineer and a tech entrepreneur, I use AI every day in various parts. The most prominent is, obviously, coding and product development. AI has been revolutionary for me in product development and product engineering. The velocity at which I have been able to get work done is staggering.
Strategy development and brainstorming
I have frequent conversations with AI to develop marketing strategies, business development plans, etc. Although the effectiveness of AI in these areas is nowhere near its efficiency in programming, it serves as a good foundation to develop the final strategies. AI is good at research, so I have it conduct relevant research and present me with the findings.
Filming
When it comes to filming, AI has been very useful. The pre-production part of filming is usually hectic, time-consuming, and expensive. Some months ago, I attempted to automate major parts of the pre-production pipeline in my work. More specifically—Generating Shot Lists and Generating Storyboards. These works require time, effort, and money, but more often than not, projects do not have them. I started using AI to help me there, and things that took weeks were now completed in less than a day. That is when I decided to develop it into a product and launched it as StoryBirdie. I hope other filmmakers find value in it as I have.
Process of learning
Every time I wish to gain deeper insights into a particular concept or subject area, I rely on conversations with AI. The dialogue format enables me to dissect complex information, gain insights, and accelerate the learning process.
AI for making architectural choices
When it comes to selecting an appropriate system architecture, considering scalability options, or defining component structure, AI provides me with multiple alternatives and helps me analyse their pros and cons.
