Kathmandu Art Gallery to host printmaking exhibition by KU students

A new printmaking exhibition titled ‘Sanskaran’ is set to open today at Kathmandu Art Gallery, Baber Mahal Revisited, showcasing the works of ten fourth-year students from the Department of Art and Design, School of Arts, Kathmandu University.
The exhibit runs from January 30 to February 11. Uddhab Pyakurel, acting dean of the Kathmandu University School of Arts, will inaugurate the exhibit.
Under the mentorship of artist and educator Bidhyaman Tamang, students explored printmaking as a medium for experimentation, personal expression, and conceptual inquiry.
The exhibition features works by Dorje Tsering Sherpa, Samip Limbu, Palistha Maharjan, Iva KC, Arya Udas, Sasmita Sakha, Gagan Kumar Jyapu, Shreenidhi Khadka, Sudha Paudel, and Divas Bajracharya.
Each artist presents a distinct visual language, reflecting diverse themes, styles, and artistic directions.
