‘Echoes In The Valley’ returns with its Annual Music Festival

Echoes in the Valley is organising the 10th edition of its annual music festival at Khokana, Lalitpur. Set to be executed on January 23 (2 pm onwards) and January 24 (1 pm onwards), this festival will bring together a vast range of folk, traditional, and indigenous sounds from Nepal and around the world.
Understanding both the fragility and the strength of music-making, the organising team steps forward to strengthen musical culture, education, and resources. “Echoes In The Valley is more than just a festival. It is a movement,” says the team behind it.
Day one of the festival will be inaugurated at 2 pm with an Opening Parade by Traditional Dimey Khala. Followed by performances by Lyama Bhajan Khala, The Arc, Allta-Neok (South Korea) and Carolina Katun (Switzerland/Nepal).
Similarly, Day two will start at 1 pm, with the Opening Parade. Followed by the performances of the Hot Club of Patan, Project Baja Nepal, Anugraha, Lalit and Friends (Janakpur), Suresh Raj Bajracharya, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre and lastly, Arko Mukhaerjee and Friends feat Gaboo (India).
The event is free to enter.
