The British Council Nepal, in partnership with the British Embassy Kathmandu and Friends of Nepal in the UK, is set to host ‘Marathon Minds: The Mountains We Climb’ on June 1 at British Council, Lainchaur.
The event will spotlight a conversation with athletes Endurance Runner, Adventure Athlete & Mental Health Campaigner Sally Orange MBE, Ocean Rower, business founder and marketing leader Felicity Ashley, and Mountain Biker, Trail Runner & Adventure Guide Anisha Gurung.
Curated and presented by Duluwa Talks, the podcast of Duluwa Outdoors, the discussion will explore the speakers’ personal journeys through themes of endurance, mental health, and the role of women in adventure. The session will be hosted by co-founder of Duluwa Outdoors, Juliana Shrestha.
Both Sally Orange and Felicity Ashley will also share their connection to Nepal and insights into their upcoming documentary ‘When Life Gives You Lemons–Everyone’s Everest’ in which they are being featured.
