The National Youth Federation Nepal, a wing of the CPN-UML, took out a torch rally in the Capital on Saturday evening against rising prices of petroleum products and food grains among other household consumer goods.
Police intervened in the demonstrations soon after the protesters marched from New Baneshwar. The youth wing of the main opposition said protests were staged in all 77 districts on Saturday.
