Chhath Festival, one of the major festivals celebrated mostly by Hindus in Nepal’s southern plains, was observed on Wednesday all over the country.
Chhath is a four-day-long festival starting formally on the fourth day of the new moon until the sunrise on the seventh day.
The festival is dedicated to the sun God with offerings made to the rising and setting sun.
