With the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases inside Kathmandu Valley, the authorities have decided to tighten the lockdown rules.

The Valley roads, infamous for traffic jams, wear a deserted look as people have forced inside their homes. However, few people were seen on the streets and some were enjoying their time playing cricket. Some women in Kirtipur were out at a local water spout to fill their water cans.

Nepal has been on lockdown since March 24 to contain the spread of the virus. On May 6, the government had extended the lockdown, the fourth time, until May 18.
