Rara, a major tourist destination, has been experiencing its first snowfall of this winter season. Snowfall started on Thursday evening after temperatures plummeted covering the Rara lake area and the trees in the vicinity with snow.

According to Bali Shahi, manager of Danphe Guest House, while tourists are enjoying the snowfall, people’s movement has been affected. Locals, however, are optimistic about a good harvest after the snowfall. The Rara area has experienced snowfall twice this year.
