Nepal Communist Party Co-Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the incumbent government will lead the country for five years.

Speaking at a programme organised by Nepal National Industry Trade Association to mark its 12th anniversary here in the Capital on Thursday, PM Oli said that the government will lead the country for five years as it has received the public mandate for the same.

He claimed that country will witness the stable government after the unification of two major communist parties.

On a different note, Dahal said that the government’s policies and programmes have paved the way for development.

Moreover, he said that the budget of fiscal year 2018/2019 will focus on infrastructure development and social sector.

Saying the unity between the two communist forces is to bring some stability in politics, he said that no force can make the unity fall apart.

Indicating the leaders of main opposition party Nepali Congress attending the all party meeting held in Baluwatar on Wednesday, he claimed that the unity would bring development and stability in Nepali politics. He called on all to work for economic development of the country.

"Independent and self-reliant economy will lead the country on the path prosperity,” he said, adding, “Foreign investment, skills and technologies are essential for the same.” RSS
