Police have arrested notorious gangster Milan Gurung (Chakre Milan) from the Capital on Tuesday.

A police team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD) arrested Gurung from his residence in Maharajgunj, said SP Dinesh Amatya.

Amatya said Gurung was arrested for his possible involvement in disrupting local level elections slated for May 14.

With the elections just round the corner, police have begun arresting the hooligans in view of their rowdy behaviour which could affect the polls.

Earlier on Sunday, police had arrested gangster Rajeev Gurung (Deepak Manange). RSS
