Charge sheet filed against suspended APF Chief Onta
The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a charge sheet against suspended Armed Police Force Chief Kosh Raj Onta, among nine APF officials, at the Special Court on Monday.
The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a charge sheet against suspended Armed Police Force Chief Kosh Raj Onta, among nine APF officials, at the Special Court on Monday.
Onta was implicated in misappropriation of funds during the supply of goods for the paramilitary force units across the country. The suspended IGP was found guilty of pocketing over Rs 70 millions of rupees in collusion with junior officers and the supplier by producing fake bills without supplying goods.
According to CIAA, a large amount of money was misappropriated after the APF head signed a contract with Sada Jyoti Suppliers after a tender process.
Along with Onta, other officials facing the charge are DIG Arvind Dhital, SP Jagat Narayan Shrestha, DSP Ananda Thapa Magar, SP Bin Bahadur Thapa, DSPs Nil Bahadur Shrestha, Devendra Kumar Shrestha, Lekh Bahadur Khattri and constable Milan Adhikari.
Likewise Sada Jyoti Suppliers and Aditi Transprot are also charge for the offence.
