Chairman of the Nepal Jama Masjid Amar Ali Farid Khan pass away on Wednesday night while undergoing treatment for cancer.

Masjid Secretary Mansur Hussain informed that, Khan, 42, was suffering from cancer since a long time and passed away while undergoing treatment at Chabahil-based Om Hospital.

Final rites of Khan will be performed at Swayambhu based-cremation site under muslim traditions at 2 pm. The funeral procession will begin from the Ghantaghar-based Masjid at 1 pm.
