Govt transfers 37 senior police superintendents
The Home Ministry has transferred 37 Senior Superintendent of Police (SSPs). The transfer comes following the recent promotion of nine deputy inspector generals
SSP Ramesh Kharel, who was called to the police headquarters from Metropolitan Police Range, Hanumandhoka, following his controversial remarks over DIG promotion process, has been transferred to Central Police Training Centre in Bharatpur. The recent reshuffling has also brought Surbendra Khanal from Narayani Zonal
Police Office to Inspector General’s Office at the police headquarters.
SSP Madhav Prasad Joshi has been transferred to police reserve force while Bijayalal Kayastha has been brought to Tribhuvan International Airport. SSP Pushkal Raj Regmi has been transferred to the Mechi Zonal Police Office, SSP Gyan Bikram Shah to Koshi Zonal Police Office, SSP Pawan Prasad Kharel to Sagarmatha Zonal Police Office, SSP Suresh Kumar KC to Janakpur Zonal Police Office, SSP Rajendra Shrestha to Bheri Zonal Police Office, SSP Laxman Neupane to Seti Zonal Police Office, SSP Ramesh Kumar Pandey to Rapti Zonal Police Office and SSP Subash Chandra Chaudhary to Dhaulagiri Zonal Police Office.
Meanwhile, SSP Kedar Man Singh Bhandari has been appointed the deputy chief at the Central Investigation Buereau and SSP Yadav Raj Khanal has been transferred to the Police Division at the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority. SSP Ganesh Bahadur Gurung has been transferred to the Metropolitan Police Traffic Division and SSP Dhiru Basnet has been transferred to the Crime Investigation Department, among others.
