UCPN (Maoist) senior leader Baburam Bhattarai said on Monday that his party will not engage in the game of forming and toppling governments.  

The Maoist ideologue said that his party would strive for drafting a democratic constitution within a year to pave the way for the stability and development of the country.

In a meeting with US Ambassador to Nepal Peter Bodde, the Maoist leader made it clear that his party will not deviate from the line of peace and constitution. Bhattarai also said his party was for calling the CA meet at the earliest.

Bhattarai added that along with the task of constitution drafting, the parties should focus their attention on economic growth.

Ambassador Bodde was concerned about government formation and constitution drafting.
