4.5 M earthquake jolts Bajhang

A 4.5 magnitude earthquake with an epicentre in Bajhang district of Sudurpaschim province jolted west Nepal on Wednesday.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale occurred at 4:06 am today with its epicentre around Daulichaur in the district.
In the past four days, far-west Nepal has recorded three earthquakes.
Earlier on Monday, an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 struck Bajura district in the province. Likewise, another 4.1 M earthquake was recorded in East Rukum on Saturday.
Nine of the last 10 earthquakes that have struck Nepal in the last two months have been recorded in the Sudurpaschim province. While one earthquake measuring 4.1 on Richter scale was recorded in Humla of Karnali province on May 1.
