Shrestha had a lift of 90kg in snatch and 117 in clean and jerk for a total of 207kg. Bishal Bista of Kanchanpur won the junior category with a total lift of 170kg—72kg in snatch and 170kg in clean and jerk. Gagan Chand of Nepal Police Club (NPC) won the senior 85kg title, lifting 205kg—90kg in snatch and 115kg in clean and jerk. Shree Krishna Maharjan of NPC finished second and Dinesh Karki of Kathmandu ended up in third. TAC’s second gold came from Dinesh Shrestha who won the 94kg title lifting 252kg.
Shrestha had a lift of 110kg in snatch and 142kg in clean and jerk. Sagar Bhandari won the junior title in the weight category with a lift of 162kg—77 in snatch and 85 in clean and jerk. Gagan Singh Oli of TAC won the men’s 105kg title with a total lift of 237kg. He lifted 105kg in snatch and 132 in clean and jerk.
TAC continued their domination after Pukar Gurung struck senior 105kg gold with a total lift of 250kg. He lifted 115kg in snatch and 135 in clean and jerk. Sandeep Gurung of NPC was the winner in the junior category totaling 197kg—87 in snatch and 110 in clean and jerk.
Shanti Chaudhary of Saptari won the women’s 63kg final. Chaudhary had 55kg in snatch and 72kg in clean and jerk for a total lift of 127kg. Manita Shrestha TAC won the women’s 69kg gold with a total lift of 131kg—56kg in snatch and 75kg in clean and jerk. NPC’s Laxmi Ban won the women’s 75kg final with a lift of 128kg—58 in snatch and 70 in clean and jerk. The 12th SA Games bronze medallist Tara Devi Pun won the above-75kg gold. She had a total lift of 150kg —60kg in snatch and 90kg in clean and jerk.
