Rokaya beat Bibek Shrestha of Modern Indian School (MIS) 7-6, 7-5. Khanal hammered Andy of Rupy’s International 6-1, 6-1, Gurung sidelined Anjan Thing of LA 6-3, 6-2 and Aabhash eased past Anish Bade of Kathmandu University High School (KUHS) 6-1, 6-1.

Bijisha Shrestha of DAV, Ani Mathema of The British School, Ira Raut of Pennwood and Medhavi Giri of Ullens reached the U-16 girls singles last four with all players defeating opponents from Vistare Foundation.

Kharel also made it to the U-14 boys’ singles semi-finals drubbing Bade 6-0, 6-0. Saurav Raj Pandey of St Xavier’s beat Sahil Dip 6-1, 6-3, Rahul Singh of Kasthamandap defeated Avinav Bajracharya of LA 7-6, 6-3 and Saharsha Chand of Kasthamandap overcame Mohit Tenguria 6-1, 6-2 in other quarter-final matches.

Raut, Giri, Ani also qualified for the U-14 girls’ singles last eight along with Alsa Regmi of Kasthamandap, Sushmita Thapa of LA, Catherine Mathema and Khushi Pandey of The British School.

Making it to the boys’ U-10 quarter-finals were Saharsha Parajuli, Aditya Subedi, Ranav Singh, Aryan Giri, Abi Joshi, Raut and Hada.
