Hetauda

Police on Thursday arrested seven individuals, including four women, in connection with the murder of 37-year-old Milan Dangal from ward 16 of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City.

The suspects arrested are Prashant Lama, 36; Sujan Paudel, 28, from Makawanpur; Kisan Daini, 24, from Lalitpur; and Inisha Timilsena, 19, from Bara. Susmita Tamang, 19, Sharmila Muktan, 20, and Rojina Tamang, 19, all from Sindhuli, have been taken into custody.

Dangal’s body was discovered in a drain along the Hetauda-Dharan-Chatara road in Bhuwanchuli, Makawanpur, on Wednesday morning, face down. Authorities suspect that a dispute at a nearby hotel may have led to his murder.

The police have obtained a seven-day remand order from the Makawanpur District Court to investigate the case further.
