Khanal received 14,204 votes to secure a win over UML’s Sarbendra Khanal.

Shishir Khanal of Rastriya Swatantra Party has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-6 with 14,204 votes.
CPN-UML’s Sarbendra Khanal came in second securing 8,911 votes. Bhimsen Das Pradhan of Nepali Congress stood third with 8,805 votes.
Pradhan had won the polls in 2013 and 2017 from the constituency.
