A 35-year-old woman from Dharan Sub-metropolis-14 died of dengue. 

According to Umesh Mehata, chief at the sub-metropolis’s health unit, the woman died in the course of treatment at Birat Nursing Home in Biratnagar on Thursday. 

With this, the death toll caused by dengue infection in Dharan reaches nine. 

Mehata estimates that more than 25,000 people in Dharan are infected with dengue.
