Janamat Party Chair CK Raut has secured a victory in Saptari-2 with 35,042 votes.
He defeated Janata Samajbadi Party Chair Upendra Yadav to emerge victorious. Yadav got 16,979 votes.
Similarly, Jay Prakash Thakur of Loktantrik Samajbadi Party stood third garnering 7,344 votes.
Yadav was elected as a House of Representatives (HoR) member in 2017 from the constituency.
