Nepali Congress has postponed the election manifesto unveiling programme until further notice.
Congress had earlier slated the unveiling event for Monday.
Issuing a statement on Monday, the party said the programme to make the manifesto public by the party president Sher Bahadur Deuba has been postponed until further notice.
The party’s central committee on October 14 had approved the preliminary draft of the manifesto incorporating inputs from party leaders and members of the central work execution committee.
Party general secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma leads the manifesto preparation committee which has experts like Swarnim Wagle and Geja Sharma Wagle, among others, as members.
Two other major political forces CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Centre) have not published their manifestoes either.
