Indian Prime Minister Modi congratulates RSP leaders on election success

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, and senior party leader Balendra Shah on their election victories and the party’s strong performance in the polls.
In a message posted on the social media platform X on Monday evening, Modi said he had held warm telephone conversations with both leaders.
“Had warm telephone conversations with Mr Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Mr Balendra Shah, Senior Leader of the RSP. Congratulated both leaders on their electoral victories and RSP’s resounding success in the Nepal elections,” the Indian prime minister wrote.
Modi also conveyed India’s readiness to work with Nepal’s incoming government for mutual prosperity and progress.
“I am confident that with our joint endeavours, India and Nepal relations will scale new heights in the years ahead,” the Indian prime minister said in the post.
