Rockfall claims woman’s life in Kavre

A woman died after being hit by a falling rock following a dry landslide in Roshi Rural Municipality-11 of Kavre on Sunday afternoon.
Ward chair Lal Kumar Pakhrin said that 56-year-old Bimaladevi Tamang was struck by a rock that came down with the landslide at Bhainse around 4pm.
He added that the police reached the incident site for necessary investigation and support.
Authorities have urged locals to remain cautious in areas vulnerable to landslides, especially following recent unstable weather conditions.
