Police fire teargas to control clash between two groups in Dhanusha

A clash broke out between two groups in Janakpurdham Sub-metropolitan City-20, Rupaitha, on Saturday afternoon, prompting police intervention.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Varun Bahadur Singh of Dhanusha District Police said that four rounds of teargas shells were fired to disperse the crowd.
“The situation is now under control,” he said.
Nearly 200 security personnel, including both Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force, have been deployed in the area to prevent further escalation, Singh added.
Police are investigating for details.
