Police suspect the body may be of a person missing in the recent Rasuwa flood

An unidentified body has been recovered from the banks of the Trishuli river in Chitwan, authorities confirmed on Thursday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shailendra Thapa, assistant spokesperson for the Armed Police Force (APF), the body of a man, estimated to be around 45 to 50 years old, was found in Kalikhola, located in Ward 6 of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality.
The body was discovered by a joint team from the APF's temporary security base in Bhaldhunga and Nepal Police.
After completing the necessary legal formalities at the scene, the body was sent to Bharatpur District Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Authorities have yet to establish the identity of the deceased. However, police suspect the body may belong to an individual who went missing during the Rasuwa flood incident on July 8.
Further investigation is underway.
