A computer operator at the Nawalparasi West District Court has been arrested with a Rs200,000 bribe.
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) office in Butwal arrested Ram Lakhan Baniya on Wednesday.
Baniya allegedly took the bribe to release a person detained in a drug-related case.
He was apprehended by CIAA officials at Belaspur Chowk in Palhinandan Rural Municipality.
