The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has slashed gasoline prices effective from Sunday midnight. According to the NOC, the price revision is based on the new rates received from Indian Oil Corporation, the supplier.
“We’ve reduced the price of petrol by Rs3 per litre and diesel and kerosene by Rs2 a litre,” said NOC Spokesman Birendra Goit. According to the new rates, petrol will cost Rs110 per litre while kerosene and diesel will be charged Rs93 a litre each. The state owned oil monopoly, however, has not revised the prices of aviation fuel and cooking gas. (PR)
