Addressing the first general assembly of Province 4 in Bandipur on Tanahun on Friday, leader Paudel expressed his dissatisfaction over Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Co-Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal that Nepal should adopt the directly elected executive presidential system.
He said that parliamentary system based on pluralism is appropriate for Nepal.
“Prachanda tries to trigger political debate by talking about the directly elected executive presidential system,” he said, adding, “Political debate will stop the country from development.”
Paudel warned that democracy will be at stake if the party with two-thirds majority talks about the directly elected executive presidential system.
Saying that best constitution has been promulgated in Nepal, Paudel underscored the need of taking the country on the path of prosperity by implementing the constitution.
