The snow brought by incessant rains have affected Barahgaun, Muktinath area, Dalome and Lo Manthang Rural Municipality.
Locals said that this is the first instance when they have seen snowfall in the months of April-May.
Local Amit Tulachan of Chusang informed that about 3 feet of snow has covered the affected areas.
Meanwhile, Meteorological Forecasting Division senior meteorologist Barun Poudel informed that although the weather will be cleared on Friday, there is chances of change in the weather pattern on Saturday and Sunday.
Likewise, vehicular movement along the Jomsom-Upper Mustang road section has been obstructed due to the snowfall.
